Located on a quiet residential street, the house has 2 to 3 available rooms and 1 shared bath; shared other common areas: living room with cable TV, dining room, kitchen, and on-site laundry facilities. Free Wi-Fi and cable movies on-demand on guests' devices is throughout the house. Public transportation is a few steps from the front door. The house is within 40-60 minutes ride on public transportation to many schools. International students have stayed with me before and it was a wonderful cultural exchange. We had a great time sightseeing, hiking, gardening, visiting with my family and friends, attending church and other events. I look forward to hosting you and showing you, the U.S.A.'s capital city in all its splendor!

Guests will be expected to keep their bedrooms cleaned and to clean their bedroom before their departure/end of stay. Also guests will be expected to assist with cleaning bathroom weekly or more often. Please rinse bathroom tub out after each shower. Shower should be kept to 5 minutes or less for everyone's consideration. Laundry facilities may be used once a week; 2 load maximum. Guest will also be expected to assist in light household chores such as washing dishes, vacuuming living room or dining room, If under 18, guardianship will be required. Also if under 18, guests will be expected to be in the home by 11:30pm and (10:00 pm on school days, if attending school).

My home is located in Fort Davis Park, a "suburban" residential area inside of Washington, DC. My home is north of Pennsylvania Avenue and about 4.5 miles, straight on Pennsylvania Avenue, to the U.S. Capitol building. There are two parks and a library in my neighborhood and some shops. Two major bus lines are within a few steps of my front doorstep. Also there are 3 subway stations that are relatively close as well. The buses go from my home to all 3 of these subway stations.

I stayed at Jennifer's homestay for 11 days. Jenn lives in 2 storey 3 bedroom house.
It is close to main road and bus stop that takes you to the subway.
Jennifer was a great help and sheerful woman.
She helped me with the directions and told me which places nice to visit.
She loves to cook and involved everyone in the kitchen.
She used home grown vegetables and salad leaves for our meals.
I would recommend Jennifer as a host. Lolimdjun ~ Australia.

Jennifer is a really nice person, very kind and full of joy! We spent many great moments with her, we really love out talks at dinner time. Also, She was very helpful in all ours concerns, she gave us advices about how buses and metro work, places to visit and eat. she helped us in improving our English.
