A beautiful, cozy home in nature, privately located on a quiet street is waiting for your visit. Only 5 min. walk from downtown Deland, restaurants, parades, Stetson University, ice cream places, Knick knack gift/antique shops, night life, hospital and parks.

We offer a large variety of warm/cold food and drinks for breakfast (vegetarian/non vegetarian).

Enjoy bagels, toast, croissants, cream cheese, cheese, bacon, hash brown, beans, eggs, pancakes, waffles, fruits, cereals, yogurt, coffee, tea, milk, juice etc.. I do organize day tours to beautiful, exotic, relaxing, adventures and historical places. Free use of bicycles and canoe.Learn English in our home. We offer transportation to and from airports...The Beach ( Daytona) is only 25 min. from our home. Deland is situated between DAYTONA BEACH and ORLANDO. It is famous for Skydiving, snorkeling, springs, wild life, bike weeks, Ocala National Forest, horse racing etc.
We are also a host family for exchange students. We would be more than happy to give you some reference if needed :-).

I am a host and therefor available a 100 % for our guests wellbeing. I do organize day tours to beautiful, exotic, relaxing, adventures and historical places.
In addition, we offer: Bicycle tours, canoe trips, hiking with wildlife observation.

We can give you information about different activities nearby like:
Sky diving, deep sea fishing, playing golf, Bike week, Daytona race 500, Disney/ Universal Studio/Sea-world, shopping malls, flea markets and activities for children.
You could also just simply relax and enjoy the front or back yard with a good drink and a great book :-).

If you stay with us, you are part of our family. We are here, if you need our help. We always have an open ear to our guests concerns, questions, needs, wishes and problems..
Some guest come to us, to reevaluate their lives after a divorce or a stressful job/life situation etc....
Other guests, just love travelling or are in town for business....... Everybody is welcome.

We have 2 children (1999 and 2013), 1 small clean/ friendly dogs and 1 outdoor cat. I was born in 1969, am a registered nurse from Switzerland.

Besides English, I speak Italian, French, German and Spanish.

You could also send me your SON or DAUGHTER, so that they can experience a different life style, take different responsibilities, make them more mature and give them this unique change and opportunity to learn a new language and culture. Are they having difficulties at school with English????? Not a problem. We can fix that in no time!!!!!!!

We highly respect our guest’s culture and traditions as they come from all over the world. Muslims, Hindus, Christians, Buddhism, Jewish etc…. everybody is welcome. We simply want to make you feel home, in a loving and caring environment.

I am a registered nurse from Switzerland, living since 2009 in Deland, Florida.
Previous to this date I have lived and worked with neglected and sick children during 2 years in Colombia, Cartagena, South- America. In Cartagena, I have also taught different languages to children and adults.
I am a very international, social, open minded and positive person. I have travelled around the world 3 times. So I love people!!!!!

We live in a very safe, unique, clean and quiet area/ neighborhood.
We are privileged to have a great and friendly neighborhood with good people around and absolutely gorges Victorian style houses from the early 19th century.
While you are jogging or just simply go for a walk, you can get inspired by this beautiful architecture and exotically very professionally laid out front yards.
